Hiking adventures
Natural spectacle: ice holes
When the thermometer hits the 30°C, we long for a cool down. You will not only find them in our pool, but also at the ice holes. Don’t worry, it is not a glacier tour awaits you. In only 20 minutes from the hotel, the beautiful hiking trail leads you to a 200-metre-wide hollow, which is icy cold in high summer and almost gives you the shivers. Watch your head on the icicles …
Eppan Castle Trail
The hike to the Eppan Castle Triangle also starts from the hotel. The path, which has all kinds of information boards, leads from HochEppan Castle to the ruins of Boymont Castle and then to Korb Castle.

Visit the empowering Gleifkirche and admire the magnificent views of Eppan and the Schlern, set off from Eppan Berg to Sankt Apollonia, pay a visit to the Rastenbachklamm gorge in Kaltern, climb up the Leuchtenburg castle and much, much more.
Bike experiences
Whether on a racing bike, mountain bike or e-bike – Eppan and the surrounding area are a true Eldorado for biking. One of our favourite tours is the pleasure tour to Lake Kaltern or to the Montiggl Lakes. Over gentle hills, past vineyards and apple orchards, with the mountain scenery always in view, the cycle path leads you to the deep blue waters of Lake Kaltern. Treat yourself to an ice cream at the Gretl Kiosk, or how about a refreshing dip in the water or go for a pedal boat ride?
Golfing greatness
Experience the perfect game in one of Italy’s most beautiful golfing regions, where the sun kisses the green and the mountains create a breathtaking backdrop. The Golf Club Eppan is only 15 minutes by car from our hotel and whose golf course “The Blue Monster” has some special features. The large amount of water areas, which represent a special incentive and can become a real challenge are characteristic of our club.
Other golf courses can be found in the surrounding area: Golf Club Lana (Lana / 25 minutes by car), Dolomiti Golf Club (Sarnonico-Trentino / 30 minutes by car), Golf Club Carezza “The Mountain Beast” (Welschnofen / 50 minutes by car).
